06/04/2012 - Today we lost a Good American, Husband, Father, and Friend. The Lord decided to relieve him of his pain and take him to a better fishing location. Ernie C. Geer has been a member of Seven Lakes for 20 + years and been a friend to all that met him. I have spent hours fishing and talking with him over these years. He told less fishing lies than most and put up with his daughters Proper Respectful-Disrespectful comments about his fishing techniques and abilities. Ernie has left us with two fine siblings, (Carol and Gary) to fill in after his absents. I will miss him, as many of his friends. My life was inhanced with his presents,  friendship and companionship. May he rest in peace.

Soon we will have the pump on Dove directed to the new lake.  Osprey Lake is ready for the pallets, Christmas Trees, Flathead Minnows, and Black Crappie that  will be added soon. The new lake is off limits until the Crappie reach 10". When we open it to fishing this lake will be barbless, artifical fly/lure, and the kept amount per visit will be set. NO LIVE BAIT WILL BE USED IN THIS LAKE! For those that are concerned about the 7L name - use the SEVEN of the NINE lakes you like the best. Those that can't see a problem with the increase, fish all nine.

12/17/2010- 300 pounds of Flathead Minnows introduced to Lakes. Pool is OFF LIMITS. Ospree Lake is being prepared for Crappie by January 2011

06/15/2010 - We have a current stock of Worms, Horny Toads, Flukes, Ribbit's, Centipedes, Spinner Baits, Crank Baits and Fly's, that are working great on the lakes. Come by the office if you are short on what is working. We also rent 4 wt. TFO fly rods if you wish to try your hand at this form of fishing without going to the cost of rigging up.  If you find this to be an enjoyable way to bag a good limit, we can suggest the rods, reels, lines, and where to get quality instructions. Matt has purchased two Flatstalkers that he will rent for $25.00 a day. It is an upfront approach to the fish. If you wish to learn how to tie the fly's we use, I am sure Mike can help with that.

REMEMBER: No one is allowed to touch the feeders! We have lost too many because the lids have been left off after food was taken out. Leave them alone! If you wish to use the provided 7L boats and paddles (7L printed on them) you need to put them back where you get them; cleaned.  Those that fail to do so will loose the right to use them. (All children have to have approved life support vest if they are on the lakes)!!!!
